Inspired by Vic’s drawings of himself, a curly-haired boy fond of bright colours, and his brother, addicted to fancy suits and ties.

Materials

* 4ply-weight yarn, 100% cotton, approximately 50g/125m/137yds
Yarn A: Black x 1 ball
Yarn B: Cobalt Blue x 1 ball
Yarn C: Dark Grey x 1 ball
Yarn D: Light Grey x 1 ball
Yarn E: Navy Blue x 1 ball
Yarn F: Plum x 1 ball
Yarn G: Red x 1 ball
Yarn H: Skin Tone x 1 ball
Yarn I: Turquoise x 1 ball

* 4ply-weight sock yarn for hair
Yarn J: Almond Brown x 25g
Yarn K: Mustang Brown x 25g

* 2.75mm & 3mm hooks

* Soft toy stuffing, pellets, skin tone pop socks

* Four safety eyes

* Four pipe cleaners, 15cm/6in long

* Four mini buttons

* Stitch markers

Yarn Alternatives

You can use any 4ply-weight cotton yarn and 4ply-weight sock yarn to achieve a similar effect. Suggestions include Durable Coral, Schachenmayr Catania, Phildar Cotton 3, Yarn and Colors Must-Have or Scheepjes Catona for the cotton, and Durable Soqs, Lanagrossa Meilenweit or Lang Yarns Jawoll for the sock yarn.
