With their dress-up wardrobes, this pair of bunnies are fun to make and offer lots of opportunities to practise amigurumi techniques.
Materials
* King Cole Baby Alpaca DK, 100% alpaca, 50g/100m/110yds
Yarn A: Grey 502 x 1 ball
Yarn B: Camel 500 x 1 ball
* Eden Cottage Yarns Milburn 4ply, 85% Bluefaced Leicester wool/15% silk, 50g/200m/218yds
Yarn C: Catmint x 1 ball
Yarn D: Air x 1 ball
* Eden Cottage Yarns Milburn DK, 85% Bluefaced Leicester wool/15% silk, 50g/112m/122yds
Yarn E: Night Sky x 1 ball
* Eden Cottage Yarns Askham 4ply, 70% alpaca/30% silk, 50g/200m/218yds
Yarn F: Walnut x 1 ball
(Note: Small amounts only needed of yarns C–F)
* Black cotton for eyes and nose
* 2.5mm hook
* Locking stitch marker
* Small-head dressmaking pins
* Wool fibre toy stuffing
* Two buttons
Yarn Alternatives
Any alpaca DK-weight yarn will give a similar effect. Other DK-weight yarns can be substituted with varying finished textures.
