Unfurling Cushion

This cushion plays homage to the humble fern, using two yarns of contrasting texture held together to bring the appliqué to life.

* Drops Daisy, 100% wool, 50g/110m/120yds
Yarn A: Pistachio Ice Cream 08 x 3 balls

* Drops Flora, 65% wool/35% alpaca, 50g/210m/230yds
Yarn B: Dark Green 32 x 1 ball

* Drops Kid Silk, 75% mohair/25% silk, 25g/210m/230yds
Yarn C: Apple Green 18 x 1 ball

* 3.5mm & 4mm hooks

* Cushion pad, 35 x 35cm/14 x 14in

Any DK-weight yarn can be used to create the cushion base, while yarn of similar weights and textures can be used for the appliqué fern.
