From books about Danish culture to cookbooks about Swedish cooking, to Icelandic phrase books and Nordic ceramics, it's safe to say we love the Northern European cultures and languages. What is especially inspiring is the Northern European fibre heritage, and this issue of Inside Crochet welcomes the winter solstice with that in mind.

Speaking of which, the colours for this issue are inspired by the winter landscapes of Scandinavia, as well as the deep charcoal greys of the volcanic Icelandic landscape, the striking pale hues of the Blue Lagoon, and mustard yellow like the lichen on the rocks.
