Welcome to our fabulous Wonderland party, celebrating the close of summer in over-the-top, quirky style with ruffles, florals and plenty of colour!
We challenged our brilliant designers to create a collection of really wearable garments, accessories and stunning homewares that will encourage you to develop your skills and try something new, whatever your level of experience.
Cassie Wards Imagination Jumper is the perfect first garment project, made in the softest alpaca-mix yarn. Its boxy shape with balloon sleeves and great drape will be a wardrobe favourite right through the seasons. The Flower Stitch Cardigan by Annelies Baes is a more challenging pattern but with the yarn held double and the beautiful stitch patterns, seeing it blossom on your hook is a delight! And if stunning stitches are what inspires you then take a peek at Eline Alcocer's incredible Dawn to Dusk Shawl. We're not sure whether to wear it or frame it!
Crochet colourwork has endless possibilities, so hone your tapestry skills with the magical Floral Blanket, the riot of colour in the Geometric Tapestry Scarf and the gorgeous Gingham Jacket.
And let's bring those late summer blooms inside as autumn nears, and create a magical space with twinking rose-petal fairy lights and a stunning floral table decoration.
Have fun this issue!
