Yarn Alternatives

One of the main features of this design is that it uses different fibres to achieve a variety of textures. Feel free to experiment with any combination of 4ply or heavy 4ply/sportweight fibres.

Note on slub yarn (yarn B2): The sample shown uses one skein of slub from The Mimo Yarn Co. This yarn is currently out of production. A good, UK-based alternative would be Vicki Brown Designs Sock Slub in Gymnocalycium (pink tones) or Muscula (orange tones) .
