The Just So Cosy Issue

This issue has a distinctly autumnal theme, with russet shades, cosy accessories and warm fibres abounding. We love the varied colours of autumn and this issue celebrates these shades from bright oranges and muted golds to earthy browns.

Inside this issue

Lindy Zubairy's Tunisian crochet throw encompasses many of these autumnal colours, while also being a fabulously easy project for newcomers to the Tunisian technique.

In fact, there is also a bit of a Tunisian crochet theme to the magazine this month, with another simple Tunisian pattern in the shape of Joanne Scrace's chic handbag, plus our easy how-to guide on page 84. So even if you have never picked up a long hook before, you should be able to master the unfamiliar forward and return passes of this technique in no time!

We haven't forgotten that All Hallows Eve fast approaches, so to ensure you are fully prepared for costume parties and trick or treaters we have a varied selection of cute and creepy projects inside, perfectly pitched for Halloween. Children and adults alike will love the Kitty Cat Dress-up Set, which will also work perfectly as a fancy dress staple throughout the year, while you can spookify your house with the other creepy decorations and toys we have in store. Most of these projects are also ideal for hooking with your children, making perfect family crafts.

Have a look if you dare!
