This decoration is inspired by long summer days with their flowers in full bloom and singing birds in the garden!
Materials
* DMC Natura Just Cotton, 100% cotton, 50g/155m/170yds
Yarn A: Orléans N88 (Blue) x 1 ball (10g)
Yarn B: Tournesol N16 (Yellow) x 1 ball (10g)
Yarn C: Gardenia N36 (Beige) x 1 ball (5g)
Yarn D: Pistache N13 (Dark Green) x 1 ball (10g)
Yarn E: Lima N76 (Lime Green) x 1 ball (10g)
Yarn F: Light Green N12 x 1 ball (5g)
(Small amounts of each are used, exact weights are stated above)
* 3.5mm hook
* 15cm/6in wooden embroidery hoop
* Pair of 3mm safety eyes or black beads
* Toy stuffing
* Yarn needle
Yarn Alternatives
You can use small amounts of any sportweight to DK yarn in similar colours or mix even more colours into the group – this project is great for using up small leftovers from stash.
Errata
The bird’s Wing instructions are missing and should read as follows:
6ch.
Row 1: 4tr in third ch from hook, 1htr in next ch, 1dc in next ch, 2dc in last ch – 8 sts.
Row 2: Work along the other side of the foundation chain, 1dc in each chain – 6 sts.
Fasten off and sew to Bird Body.
