This circle bag looks stunning but is a simple and quick make. The pattern is inspired by the uncurling fronds of ferns growing through cracks in an ancient stone wall.
Materials
* Stylecraft Special Aran, 100% acrylic, 100g/196m/214yds
Yarn A: Graphite 1063 x 3 balls
* Stylecraft ReLove, 80% recycled acrylic/20% recycled wool, 100g/220m/240yds
Yarn B: Pea Shoot 2567 x 1 ball
* 4.5mm hook
* Zip to match yarn A, 20cm/8in
* Sewing thread to match yarn A
* Sewing needle or sewing machine
* Tassel maker, 7.5cm/3in (or similar sized piece of stiff card)
Yarn Alternatives
This bag could be made in any aran-weight yarn, although choose lighter fibres so that the bag doesn’t become too heavy.
