This fun family game uses magnets to reel in your catch of the day! Inspired by trips to the beach, this project is also great for using up scraps of yarn.
Materials
* Yarnsmiths Cotton DK, 100% cotton, 50g/106m/116yds
Yarn A: Vanilla Fudge 3067 x 1 ball
Yarn B: Bright Red 3110 x 1 ball
Yarn C: Ecru 3042 x 1 ball
Yarn D: Tangerine 3135 x 1 ball
Yarn E: Duck Egg 3256 x 1 ball
Yarn F: Peach 3422 x 1 ball
Yarn G: Tropical Teal 3229 x 1 ball
* Scrap of black yarn
* 3.5mm & 4mm hooks
* Six magnets, 10mm/½in
* One magnet with a hole in the middle, 10mm/½in
* Toy stuffing
* Wooden dowel, 30cm/12in
Yarn Alternatives
You can use any DK-weight cotton to achieve a similar effect. This is a good project to use up scrap yarn and get creative with colours.
