Pretty Puff Tea Cosy

Having a cosy for your teapot is a thing of great beauty, and they are a wonderful way to use up your stash. 

Materials

* Stylecraft Special DK, 100% acrylic, 100g/295m/322yds

Yarn A: Grey 1099 x 1 ball

* Stylecraft Bellissima, 100% acrylic, 100g/145m/159yds

Yarn B: Sugar Snap 3926 x 1 ball

* Stylecraft Bambino, 100% acrylic, 100g/145m/159yds

Yarn C: Denim Dungarees 3943 x 1 ball

Yarn D: Little Boy Blue 7118 x 1 ball

Yarn E: Heather 7114 x 1 ball

Yarn F: Soft Pink 7113 x 1 ball

(Note: Only small amounts needed of yarns B–F)

* 3.5mm hook

* Button, 1.25cm/½in

* Yarn needle

* Pair of 10mm knitting needles (or thick pens) for Flower Puffs

Yarn Alternatives

You can use any DK-weight yarn to achieve a similar effect. Although we have used set colours and yarn for this design, we would suggest using up remnants from your stash of yarns to make your tea cosy unique.
