Cinnamon Cardigan

Hooked side to side to create a knit-look rib using back loop only stitches, this cardigan is easy to adapt and fun to make. For a waistcoat, simply leave out the instructions for the sleeves!
Materials
* Drops Baby Merino, 100% wool, 50g/175m/191yds
Cardigan: Bordeaux 51 x 6 (6, 7, 7, 8, 9) balls
Waistcoat: Bordeaux 51 x 4 (4, 5, 5, 6, 7) balls
* Drops Brushed Alpaca Silk, 77% alpaca/23% silk, 25g/140m/153yds
Cardigan: Bordeaux 24 x 7 (8, 8, 9, 10, 11) balls
Waistcoat: Bordeaux 24 x 5 (5, 6, 7, 8, 9) balls
* 6mm hook
* Stitch markers
* Three buttons, 3cm/1¼in, or five buttons, 2cm/¾in
Yarn Alternatives
Any 4ply-weight wool held together with any brushed alpaca or mohair yarn will work here. Alternatively, use one strand of an aran to chunky-weight yarn.
