Yarn Alternatives
Any superbulky yarn will substitute for the Boodles yarn used here – try cutting up an old t-shirt or stretch fabric into roughly 1cm/½in wide strips if you can’t find any. This project uses very small amounts of each yarn, so about 10m/11yds of homemade fabric yarn should be enough.
For the contrast yarn, any yarn that is lighter than chunky weight will work well. Try a yarn with a sheen, like the Rowan tape yarn used here, for a pretty contrast.
