Sempervivum Top

By Kath Webber

Find the complete pattern in Inside Crochet Issue #178

Inspired by the silvery blue leaves of the sempervivum plant, this boxy tee features repeating rows of lacy waves stacked like the leaves of the succulent it’s named for.

Materials

West Yorkshire Spinners Elements DK, 60% Lyocell/40% Falkland Islands wool, 50g/122m/122yds
Shade: Shore Glass 1238 x 7 (9, 11) balls

* 5mm hook

Yarn Alternatives

Any DK-weight yarn would work well for this – plant fibres such as tencel, nettle and cotton add to the drape of the finished piece. Do check your tension carefully.
