Blickling Shawlette

Named after one of Norfolk’s great estates, this shawlette is based on a pattern of the designer’s grandmother’s, made modern in rust-coloured wool and mohair-blend yarn.

 

Materials

 * The Fibre Co. Cumbria Fingering, 90% wool/10% mohair, 100g/300m/328yds
 

Shade: Catbells CUF056 x 2 skeins

* 4mm hook 

Yarn Alternatives

Any 4ply-weight yarn can be used to obtain a similar effect – please note this shawl uses exactly 600m/356yds.
