This close-fitting beanie hat features a knit-look folded brim and pretty harlequin stitch in botanically-dyed yarn, topped with a bouncy pom-pom. 

 

Materials

* FibreWorkshop Norfolk Horn Natural 4ply, 100% Norfolk Horn wool, 50g/207m/226yds
Yarn A: Undyed x 1 skein

FibreWorkshop Norfolk Horn 4ply plant-dyed, 100% Norfolk Horn wool, 25g/103m/113yds
Yarn B: Madder x 1 skein
Yarn C: Walnut-overdyed Madder x 1 skein
Yarn D: Woad x 1 skein
Yarn E: Weld x 1 skein

* 3.5mm hook

*Pom-pom maker, 7cm/2¾in (optional)

Yarn Alternatives

Any rustic 4ply or sport-weight yarn would work in this pattern. If substituting with a Merino or fine wool, use DK weight instead. The yarn used in this pattern is spun in Yorkshire then hand-dyed in Jenn’s workshop in Norfolk using plants gathered and grown in Norfolk.
